If you cancel a course with more than 48 hours before a course start date, you will receive a full refund.
If you cancel a course with less than 48 hours before a course start date, you will receive a refund of 50%.
If you cancel a course less than 24 hours before a course start date, you will not receive a refund. However, if you provide more than a weeks notice from the date of your course, we will allow you to bump your course date one time without charge. If less than a weeks notice is provided or you are a no-show, your course will be subject to a $25 rescheduling fee. If you bump your course date, you will no longer be eligible for a refund.
If you are a no-show after rescheduling your course and paying the initial rescheduling fee, you will need to pay for the course again before rescheduling.
Please note; once you have been enrolled in our blended learning program and your account has been created for your course, this is considered the "start date" of your course as described above. Therefore, you will not be eligible for a refund once you have been enrolled in the online component of the course regardless if you have started it.
We would always suggest taking a Standard First Aid with CPRC and AED Skills course since this level of training covers all aspects of First Aid and CPR that a First Aider can perform.

Professional Designations:
Yes, our courses are offered through both the Lifesaving Society and Emergmart Response Systems; Code 8 EMS Division. Both of these providers are recognized by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), you can verify by following this link to the WSIB website and searching their names here.
Blended learning allows the candidate of a course to complete the first half of the course online at their own pace. The term used for this is "asynchronous-learning." This means that you can take as many breaks or take as long as you need to in order to complete your online portion of the course without losing your progress online.
The online component must be completed before you attend an in-person session.
Upon completion, you will be eligible to participate in one of our in-person courses which will provide you with the full certification at the end of the day as long as you meet all requirements to pass.
As per WSIB requirements, all of our certifications are valid for a 3-year period.
No. WSIB mandates that all recertification must be done through the original certifying body.
If you have done your original certification through a provider from Lifesaving Society or Code 8 EMS within the last 3 years, you are eligible to register one of our recertification courses. However, if you are passed the 3 year mark, you must register in one of our full courses. You can do so by clicking here.
The recertification course for an Emergency First Aid with CPRC and AED Skills course is the full course. Please enroll in a full course by clicking here.
No. The recertification course for these two certifications are the original course. Please enroll in a full course by clicking here.
Both employees and the general public should attend First Aid and CPR training courses not just for compliance, but also to have the knowledge on how to effectively administer help during an emergency situation at home or at work.
