Are Your Kids Rescue Ready?
Kids Only Emergency First Aid & CPR-C Course (Ages 10–14)
Parents! Would your child know what to do in a real emergency?
Prerequisite: None.
Format: In-person
Time Req: Two 6 hour days
This course offers Emergency First Aid with CPRC and AED skills through Code 8 EMS, a WSIB approved First Aid and CPR Training provider and is open to children and youth 10-14 years old.
👉This course is designed specifically for children so they can learn life-saving skills in a safe, supportive environment alongside their peers and is a two full-day, in-person course focused on engaging, hands-on, in-depth learning and limited to 12 participants to ensure ongoing 1-on-1 instruction and feedback from our experienced instructors.
Kids will practice and learn:
✅ Bandaging and wrapping techniques
✅ Managing burns, scrapes, bruises, and cuts
✅ Recognizing medical emergencies
✅ How and when to call 911
✅ Emergency First Aid & CPR skills (including AED awareness)
✅ Building confidence, responsibility, and leadership in emergencies
The training follows Emergency First Aid standards while being structured specifically for young learners.
🧒 Kids-only environment means, no adult participants, allowing children to learn comfortably, ask questions freely, and build confidence together.
📚 Structured similar to a school setting with two in-person days (6-hour learning blocks instead of traditional 8-hour adult courses) to keep learning engaging and age-appropriate.
This course is recognized by Ontario's Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) under Code 8 EMS - Division of Emergmart Response Systems

The Home Alone Program is an essential training course designed for children aged 10 and older, equipping them with vital skills and knowledge for staying safe and responsible when left home alone for short durations.
